Living in London, Jamie attended Bedales and was once part of the National Music Theatre. He began acting when his friend Laura Michelle Kelly, who also starred in Sweeney Todd, referred him to her agent. Besides acting Jamie is the lead singer of the band The Darling Buds and was a full time model with Select Model Management in London. In 2007, he starred in his first major film role in “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”. It was a dream role for him as he has been quoted saying “I grew up with Johnny and Tim’s films like Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow, when I was first realizing that I really liked films and understood what a good film was”.

Jamie also had a small part as a Rocker in Guy Ritchie’s film “RocknRolla”. The film also stars the likes of Thandie Newton, Gerard Butler and Tom Wilkinson. He also starred in the movie “Oorloswinter”, in which he played Jack. Jamie also recently landed the role of ‘Caius’ in New Moon, the second film in the popular saga by Stephenie Meyer.
