Lily Collins is super excited Jamie Campbell Bower is joining the cast of The Mortal Instruments as Jace Wayland!The 22-year-old actress actually found out that Jamie, 22, was her Jace over the internet! Lily told MTV News that she already had a strong feeling it was going to be him when he came in for the audition.
“I think we literally, we found our Jace that day,” Lily said.
The Mortal Instruments author Cassandra Clare had a similar feeling when she saw Jamie’s audition footage. “He auditioned with Lily, and he and Lily had incredible chemistry that sort of blazed off the screen… I’m watching the audition, and I literally started crying because that was my Jace and Clary on the screen.”

I’ve started reading the book, and it’s really good. I think Jamie will be amazing in the role and very sexy too. The fans of the book need to stop their whining and trust in Jamie, Lilly and the author Cassie Claire, who loved him. I’ve also heard people have been sending him nasty messages over twitter about it, which is just out of line. So excited for them to start filming! |
